Official Rules for "Bid at the Bell Promotion", September 1, 2014 through October 31, 2014

By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules.

No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter and bid on prizes. Must be a resident of Hawaii. Void where prohibited.

Employees and immediate family members of employees of TD Food Group Inc., Clear Channel Hawaii, Oceanic Time Warner Cable and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, the "Sponsors") are not eligible to participate.

To enter, beginning September 1, 2014 through October 31, 2014, go to any participating Taco Bell restaurant in Hawaii and receive a Code Card sheet with the purchase of any Taco Bell menu item. Each Code Card sheet will feature a unique 8- digit key code with instructions on how to enter. To enter, each customer must create an account by registering at TacoBellHawaii.com. Once an account is established, type in the key code in the specified area along with other required information.

Each code is worth a random amount of points, in 1,000, 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000 denominations. Points can be used to bid on prizes in the "Bid at the Bell" game. Entrant with the highest bid at the end of the bidding period will win the prize on which the bid was made. Bidding for an item ends at 11:59:59 PM HST (11:59 PM and 59 seconds) on the item’s listed bidding end date. Each key code can only be redeemed once and must be valid in order to earn points. Each registered entrant is limited to 2 key code entries per day. Any key codes beyond 2 per day will not earn any account points. (While supplies of Code Card sheets last.) Invalid or used key codes will result in an error.

The customer will receive one Code Card sheet that is printed with one key code at any participating Taco Bell Hawaii restaurant, with the purchase of a regular food item from September 1, 2014 through October 31, 2014. Code Card sheets are available while supplies last. Regular food items include only those items reflected on the Taco Bell Hawaii restaurant menuboard. Every time a customer receives a new Code Card sheet in this manner, he/she may go to tacobellhawaii.com to earn points based on the key code on that Code Card sheet. Points belonging to the same account may be aggregated before a bid is made. Points may not be aggregated between accounts.

Some items will be available for a random drawing throughout the promotion. Entrants use the specified number of points to have his/her name entered into a pool. After the entry period for the item has closed on the specified end date at 11:59:59 PM HST (11:59 PM and 59 seconds), all the names within the pool are collected and a winner will be selected at random to receive the prize. Points used to purchase an entry into the pool will not be returned to the entrant’s account if he/she does not win the prize.

The first time a customer registers for an account, he/she will automatically receive 1,000 points. A multiplier based on the number of times an entrant has entered a key code will also be in effect. On the first entry, the multiplier is one, meaning that the entrant earns 1 X the amount of points tied to the first key code. On the second entry, the multiplier is 2, meaning that the entrant earns 2 X the amount of points tied to the second key code. The maximum multiplier is capped at 5. After an entrant makes their 5th key code entry, the points earned with that entry and the points earned with every entry thereafter is multiplied by 5. Entrant may also receive points based on the number of consecutive days he/she logs into their account. The more consecutive days an entrant logs into their account, the more points he/she will receive, up to a maximum of 5,000 points. The entrant will receive 500 points for the first log in, then 1,000 points for the next consecutive day’s log in, then 1,500 points for the next, and it will continue for each consecutive day he/she logs in until a maximum of 5,000 log in points is reached. If he/she continues to log in after the maximum points are reached, they will continue to earn 5,000 points for every day of consecutive log ins. Once there is a break in consecutive log in days, the bonus log in points will reset to 500 points. The points have no face value and will become invalid on October 31, 2014.

Users may earn additional points through Taco Bell Hawaii’s Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Taco-Bell-Hawaii/129035837920), Twitter(https://twitter.com/TacoBellHawaii), and/or Instagram (http://instagram.com/tacobellhawaii) pages. To receive these points, a Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram account is required, privacy settings for the user’s page(s) must be turned off, and their page(s) must be able to accept personal messages through the social media site(s). The user must submit a post to their Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram account with the hashtag #BidattheBell. For Facebook users only, a direct messagemust be sent to Taco Bell Hawaii in addition to the user’s post to comply with the Facebook rules. Once all the criteria are met and reviewed by a Taco Bell Hawaii representative, a code will be sent as a direct message to the account which the post was made from. Each code is worth 10,000 points and users will be awarded points for one (1) post made on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media websites once a month throughout the promotion. Each code is valid for one (1) redemption per user account. All codes expire on October 31, 2014 at 11:59:59 PM HST. Posts must be in accordance with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram’s Terms of Use. Entries must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations or commercial solicitations; or promote any political agenda or party. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, contains profanity, sexual content; hateful content of any kind; content that promotes violence or harm to another being/living creature; or any other offensive content. Entries must not violate or encourage the violation of any law, rule or regulation.

Customers can also enter by mailing in one 3" x 5" hand-written card. Card must contain customer's name, address, phone number, and email address with "Bid at the Bell Promotion" written at the top of the card. Only one card mail-in request per person will be allowed before October 29, 2014, or while Code Card sheet supplies last. Cards received after October 29, 2014 will be discarded. Illegible cards will be discarded. No facsimile or copies will be allowed. Promotion begins September 1, 2014 and ends October 31, 2014. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries. Winners will be solely responsible for any and all local, state and federal taxes, license, title and registration fees or other incidental expenses incurred by his/her/their participation in the promotion. The winner of the trip to see Justin Timberlake in Las Vegas will receive a Vacations Hawaii voucher for airfare to Las Vegas from Honolulu on Omni Airlines, hotel, meal coupons and airport transfers from the provided hotel. Two tickets for Justin Timberlake’s show on 11/28/14 are in house and will also be included within the voucher. Trip must be used by 12/5/14. Winner must be at least 21 years old and will be responsible for all taxes. All winners will be notified where to pick up prizes. Certain prizes will not be shipped to winners, at Sponsor’s discretion.

Prize(s) may not be exchanged for cash. No substitution of prize(s) permitted. The depiction of the prizes in any advertising or promotional materials may not reflect the actual prizes to be awarded. Winner(s) may not sell or transfer any prizes.

Winner(s) agree to the use of his/her/their name(s) and likeness(es), without any additional compensation, by sponsors for publicity. By entering this promotion, the winner(s) acknowledge that all sponsors and venues have the right to publicize his/her/their name(s), voice(s), and likeness(es), the fact that he/she/they won, and all matters incidental thereto. Sponsors to include winners' names, photographs, recordings, etc. in any subsequent promotions, new releases or advertisements.

Upon acceptance of the prize(s), winner(s) release sponsors from any and all liability for injury or damage to property regarding the prize(s).

Driver's license or other appropriate picture identification is required to claim the prize(s). Only the prize winner may claim the prize. No proxies permitted. Prior to delivery of the prize(s), winner(s) are required to execute a Release and Affidavit of Eligibility, that must be received by the Sponsor within ten (10) days from winner(s) receipt of the Release and Affidavit of Eligibility form. Failure to complete, execute and deliver the Release and Affidavit of Eligibility in the time and manner specified above could result in forfeiture of a prize or prizes, and the awarding of the prize(s) to the next winning contestant.
